Gazprom says gas output rises 17.9% to 337.2 bcm in Jan–Aug
MOSCOW, Sep 1 (PRIME) -- The gas output of Russian gas giant Gazprom increased by 17.9% on the year to 337.2 billion cubic meters in January–August, the company said in a statement published on its Telegram channel on Wednesday.
Gas supplies to the internal market from Gazprom’s gas transmission system increased by 10.9%, or by 15.6 billion cubic meters, in the period.
Gas exports to the non-CIS states grew by 19.4% on the year to 131.3 billion cubic meters in the period. Exports to Germany rose by 39.3%, to Italy by 15%, to Serbia surged by 123.9%, to Turkey jumped by 173.6%, and to Romania soared by 344%, while gas deliveries to Poland grew by 12%, to Greece by 15.8%, to Bulgaria by 50.9%, and to Finland by 22.7%.
